Back to the gut.

Well I have been away for a few days, done in Tasmania for work (Google it if you don't know where it is) and while there I missed out on two training sessions. While there I have to eat out all the time due to fact I have no time to prepare meals. I have come to realisation that while at home and away I really need to eat better and train harder. The following is what I plan on doing.

- No sugar or sugar filled product. I already don't drink soft drink (soda) but all other sugar related snacks need to be cut out
- Make a habit of walking every day. At least 20 to 30 mins.
- Increase my Martial Arts training. Currently 2 nights a week, I want to add another class or fitness class.
- Don't over eat.
- Keep an eye on my weight.
- Have an exercise routine while on the road.

I am a relatively fit guy for my size, but I want to look good too. Well that's the plan at least!

Comments and advice much appreciated!

I would be interested to see you write down some of your diet. Get to the kcals etc.
Anyway it sounds like a great plan, keep it up!

That looks like a tough schedule, I can't keep up with that in one day. Good luck!

good luck with your dieting mate. couple of tips from my experience (went down from pudgy no-muscle 80kg to less chubby, more leaner 74kg):

1. prepare your a few days meal ahead. saves you lots of time!
2. cardio cardio cardio. run 30 min if you can instead of walking.
3. progression. slowly increase the intensity of your workouts each time.
4. most importantly, patience and persistence. rome wasn't built in a day, a good body won't either.

If you don't have weights on your travels I recommend standard bodyweight exercises.. dips, squatz, push ups, sit ups, pull ups, chin ups.. work your hand with your luggage, curling the bag filled with your stuff.. that way you can work your shoulders too

Going to take a good deal of effort. worth it though in the end.

Good luck with your plan. Having tried losing weight (and succeded) I know how it is. My current goal is to finish school and join a gym at least twice a week.
